Memory is a 2022 American action thriller featuring Liam Neeson as a hitman battling early dementia. After refusing a contract to kill a young girl, he finds himself on the run. Directed by Martin Campbell and written by Dario Scardapane, the film is based on Jef Geeraerts' novel De Zaak Alzheimer. It serves as a remake of the Belgian film The Alzheimer Case, which was previously adapted from the same novel. The film also stars Guy Pearce, Monica Bellucci, Harold Torres, Taj Atwal, and Ray Fearon.

Memory was released in U.S. theaters on April 29, 2022, by Open Road Films, but received largely negative reviews from critics.

Alex Lewis, a contract killer living in Mexico and suffering from early-onset Alzheimer's, works for crime boss Davana Sealman. His latest assignment sends him to El Paso, Texas, the town where he grew up and where his brother resides in a nursing home due to severe Alzheimer's. Alex’s target is Ellis Van Camp, a builder involved with the Texas Central Processing Facility. At the same time, FBI agent Vincent Serra, part of the Child Exploitation Task Force, is undercover in El Paso trying to capture "Papa Leon," a notorious sex trafficker. During the operation, Vincent accidentally kills Papa Leon after the trafficker takes his daughter, Beatriz, hostage. Beatriz is then taken to the Processing Facility, where she had been held before, and later sent to a group home. Vincent grows increasingly frustrated as his investigations into trafficking are repeatedly thwarted.

After successfully eliminating Ellis, Alex steals a flash drive from his safe, learning that his next target is Beatriz. However, when Alex infiltrates the group home, he refuses to kill her, believing children are "off limits." He confronts William Borden, Davana’s lawyer, demanding the hit on Beatriz be canceled. Despite his efforts, Beatriz is murdered by another hitman, Mauricio. The following morning, Alex wakes up in a hotel room after a one-night stand, only to find news of Beatriz’s death. Realizing his own life is at risk, he warns Maya, the woman he was with, to stay put while he heads to the parking garage. There, a violent shootout ensues between Alex and Mauricio. Maya, who had followed Alex to return his forgotten Alzheimer’s pills, is tragically killed in the crossfire. Alex kills Mauricio, burns their bodies inside Mauricio's car, and prepares to eliminate Borden next.

Alex retreats to his late father’s former bakery, where he examines the stolen flash drive. Among the files, he discovers disturbing footage of Davana’s son, Randy, assaulting Beatriz. Meanwhile, Randy panics upon learning of Borden’s death. Though Davana urges him to flee, he decides to throw a party on his yacht first.

At the same time, Vincent, along with Mexican police detective Hugo Marquez and Special Agent Linda Amistead, investigates Van Camp’s murder. They connect the recent crimes upon discovering that both Van Camp and Borden were killed with the same suppressed pistol. Their investigation reveals that Randy owns the processing facility, Van Camp was its builder, and Borden was Randy’s lawyer—making Randy the next likely target.

The FBI arrives at Randy’s yacht to protect him, but Alex gets there first and kills him. As he tries to escape, Vincent and Marquez corner him, and Marquez manages to shoot him, but Alex still gets away. Wounded, he takes refuge in the bakery, though his Alzheimer’s symptoms continue to worsen.

Narrowly avoiding an FBI raid, Alex infiltrates Davana’s well-guarded penthouse, protected by corrupt El Paso police officers. Fighting his way through, he reaches Davana but forgets that he had removed the firing pin from his gun. This lapse allows her enforcer, Danny Mora, to subdue him. Rather than killing Alex immediately, Mora prepares to interrogate him about the flash drive, but another officer insists he needs medical attention.
